It all started with Jamnalal Bajaj, who was the founder of the Bajaj Group. The “Bajaj Group” was founded by him in the year 1926 and he took it on a steady ascendant path.

Subsequently, in 1972, Ramakrishna Bajaj took over the group as chairman. Mr Shekhar Bajaj was the running force behind the growth of Bajaj Electricals. He joined the company in 1980 from another group company, became Managing Director in 1987, and in the year 1994, he became the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD).
